Casa Terruso är i liten ligurisk fjällbyn Villa Faraldi och har plats för 3 personer. Lägenheten har två sovrum, ett välutrustat kök, vardagsrum och badrum. På terrassen kan du njuta av utsikten över många olivlundar. Byn har en restaurang "Vecchia Pietra", som serverar läckerheter från regionen.

A calming contrast to the lively coast is Cervo, located on a hill that gently slopes down to the sea. The town is dominated by the arts. An example of which is the church of San Giovanni Battista which is one of the most meaningful attestations of baroque architecture in Liguria.
The church was designed by the architect Gio Batta Marvaldi and was dedicated to the workers of Cervo, who became rich through fishing and coral trade and whose donations helped build the church.

The forecourt of the church, which is adorned with wonderful 18th century piece-works, plays host each year in Summer to the International festival of Chamber Music and is a perfect open-air venue for music lovers.


High up on the hill of Cervo is the Clavasana Castle. Perched atop the rocks, the castle has been renovated many times over the years but still serves its purpose of defense as can be see by the arrow-slits and bastions exhibited.

The ethnographic museum of the western Riviera also calls Cervo its home.

In the town center of Cervo you will see rows of two and three story houses tightly lining the curvy alleys.

As most of the houses have not been changed within the last century, most of them still exhibit the antique archway entrances.
From castle square there is a wonderful path which takes you on a great little walk through the olive groves and thick fir forest to an unforgettable and unparalleled view of the Gulf of Diano. The stone bays at the foot of the hill are perfect for sunbathers and water rats.

The restaurants of Diano and the surrounding area are known for their refined recipe variations, most of which are inspired by the local, freshly caught fish; from a calamari salad to risotto alla Marinara to black calamaribrisotto to just plain old grilled, but great tasting, fish.

Villa Faraldi is a small typical ligurian mountain village above from Cervo.


The church San Lorenzo is situated in the centre of the village, which is only reachable via feet. The church was built in the romanic period. The first time it was mentioned in 1295. The belfry traced by the 17th century, in the 18th century the front was restored.


Every summer there is the theatre festival "Villa Faraldi" which shows different kinds of plays in the surrounded villages.

wesentliche Verbesserungen sind u.E. nicht realistisch durchführbar, ist eben ein einfacher und älteres Gebäude Wanderung auf den Monte Azzuro, von dort aus weiter nach Cervo, dabei die Feigen direkt vom Baum am Wegesrand geniessen. Boule spielen auf dem Kirchplatz von Villa Feraldi. Olivenöl vom Vermieter kaufen. Wir gehen mal wieder in die Gegend.

Nur mit Auto möglich! Für Familien mit (kleinen) Kindern ungeeignet. Man sollte unbedingt den alten Ortskern von Cervo erkunden, die engen Gassen und vor allem die Kirche auch innen besichtigen! Zum Baden eignen sich die Sandstrände von Andora und Laigueglia auch besonders für Kinder.

La terrasse était trčs agréable. Il ne faut pas avoir peur de faire de la route pour rejoindre les sites touristiques. Attention également au péage par lequel il faut passer systématiquement pour se rendre ā Gęnes, San Remo, Imperia et la plupart des grandes villes alentours. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le petit village de Cervo tout prčs de la location.

Le restaurant agri-touristique juste ā côté du parking de la mairie est trčs agréable. Leur petit vin maison aussi.

Die Küchengeräte (z. B. Besteck) könnten komplettiert werden. Einige Töpfe lassen kleine Wünsche offen. Terrasse bzw. Balkon waren sehr gut. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub verlebt, bis auf die kleinen Tierchen (Mücken), die uns ziemlich gepiesacckt haben. Ein Problem dürfte die künftige demographische Entwicklung haben (soweit wir das feststellen konnten). Die beiden Lokale vor Ort waren zwar sehr nett aber oft geschlossen. Auch der Einkauf (von allem, insbesondere Lebensmitteln) ist ohne Auto nicht zu bewerkstelligen. Nochmal, es war ein schöner Urlaub.
