Mellan olivträd och tallar ligger Villa Poggio di Andora i en sluttning. Anläggningen har en fin pool. Lägenheten är ny och praktisk inredning. Vid ungefär 600 meter är (oftast gratis) stränder Andora. Njut av en promenad längs strandpromenaden. Sängkläder och handdukar ingår!

For over ten years, Andora has been awarded the "Blue European Flag" of approval for the cleanness of the sea, the beauty of the beach and the quality of its services. This tourist resort stands at the mouth of the River Merola, between Capo Mele and Capo Cervo.





The beach is sandy, while the sea-bed is an interesting mixture of sand and rocks (there is also a wreck dating from the second world war): the two local diving centres organise courses and diving practice. The attractions are completed by a 700-berth leisure port and the local regattas organised by local sailing clubs. The recently created "Whale Sanctuary", which runs from Tuscany to Cannes, has its centre in the waters off Andora, in a stretch of sea where whales can often be sighted.





Andora was apparently founded by some exiles from Phocaea (Asia Minor) before the arrival of the Romans and the construction of the Via Julia Augusta.




The thirteenth-century castle of the Clavesana family is quite far from the coast and from Andora Marina, the oldest part of the town. The complex includes the Paraxo, which was the residence of the Clavesana family and later the seat of the Genoese administrators, and the tower-gate to the castle. Not far away is the church of Santi Giacomo e Filippo: like the tower, this is built of Capo Mele rock and is a remarkable example of Ligurian late-Romanesque style. The so-called Roman bridge over the Merola is actually a mediaeval construction. It is one hundred metres in length and has ten arches, three of which are hump-backed.





Colla Micheri lies in the valley area between Andora and Laigueglia along the Via Julia Augusta. This very ancient town became well known thanks to the work of the Norwegian ethnologist and explorer Thor Heyerdhal. Other itineraries, which can be made by mountain bike, take you to the municipal districts of Rolla and Conna. The Merola nature reserve is a great attraction for birdwatchers.

Die Küchenausstattung ist relativ einfach gehalten. Es fehlen z. B. Weingläser, es gibt keine Salatteller und auch keine Kaffeetassen, nur Becher. Wünschenswert wären auch dickere Handtücher, z. B. aus Frottee. Die weißen Baumwollhandtücher sind sehr schön, aber unzweckmäßig. Wir bringen uns unsere Handtücher deshalb selbst mit. Der Garten ist sehr schön, die Terrasse ist auch in Ordnung. Es ist alles sauber und gepflegt. Wünschenswert wären Stuhlkissen und Liegenauflagen. Der von Ihnen empfohlene Fahrradweg ist sehr schön und führt größtenteils an der Küste entlang. Essen im Hinterland ist empfehlenswert. Bei Laigueglia (im Hinterland) ist eine schöne Wallfahrtskappelle mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer und Laigueglia. Sie heißt "Madonna della guardia". Wir sind insgesamt mit dem Ferienobjekt, der Lage, dem Service und der Abwicklung zufrieden und werden Sie gerne weiter empfehlen.

Der Balkontisch war sehr klein. Ein länglicher Tisch wäre besser gewesen. Da wir nur 3 Personen waren, ging es gerade so, dort zu essen. Für 4 Personen ist es nicht geeignet. Ansonsten war die Größe und Ausstattung des Balkons super. Auch die Außenanlage war i.O. Eine Bootsfahrt von Diana Marina lohnt sich. Es wird der Hafen von Imperia angefahren. Für Monte Carlo sollte man einen ganzen Tag einplanen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Nizza und St. Tropez sind auch sehenswert. Der freie Strand von Andora ist zu empfehlen (schöner Sandstrand). Auch der Ort ist sauber (wie die anderen Orte auch). Nur ist Andora etwas klein. Einen Ausflug nach Albenga sollte man tagsüber machen. Es gibt dort eine wunderschöne Altstadt.

sehenswerte Umgebung, Ausflug über Küstenstrasse Richtung Monaco über Imperia bis Monte Carlo. Ebenso Richtung Genua. Unbeding mitzunehmen sind ein kleines Wörtebuch, da Speisekarten in der Regel nur in Landessprache verfügbar sind. vielen Dank für die gute Betreung und Abwicklung

The sofa in the living room was moving sometimes due to the construction, I guess. But it was OK. We would prefer a big bed (instead of two smaller put together) in the bedroom. I think the owners are making some construction there, so the territory will become better in the future. Cascina Rio Rocca! The owner is such a pleasant and interesting person! The food was delicious, the olive oil is the best (we bought 6 bottles!). if I am not mistaken you do not have a reference to his shop in Sanlorenzo al Mare. We could only find this place after the phone call to Donatello. You have a lot of descriptions on the web-site about other places. Thank you so much for the work you are doing! For us it was really a good choice! Hopefully one day you will cover some other parts of Italy as well, or France. I wish you success and inspiration in your work. Sehr geehrte Familie Cocca, bei der Gelegenheit wollten wir uns bei Ihnen für den wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa il Poggio bedanken. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, stillvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Gegend ist sehr interessant - mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten- aber am besten haben wir uns am Abend auf unserer herrlichen Terrasse gefüllt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße Familie Herner
