San Benedetto Medieval Festival Historical reenactments, processions and a medieval market will take you back to the year 1625. Happily, the city was spared from the war between Savoy and Taggia, which is why the population of Taggia built a church in honour of the Bishop of Albenga, San Benedetto, who was originally from Taggia and vowed to hold a celebratory festival regularly. The historical events are reenacted and will be followed by a parade through the city of Taggia.
